Events like Cars & Rockies and Cars & Broncos, presented by Autowash, are more than just gatherings of cool cars and trucks. They're opportunities to harness the goodwill of the car community to make a positive impact. At each Autowash-hosted car event, a local charity or cause is the designated beneficiary of the live giveaway. For the April 13th, 2024 event, that cause was The Joshua School.
About The Joshua School
The Joshua School (TJS) is a unique, local school specializing in helping individuals with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities attain the highest quality of life. TJS values each unique mind, body, and spirit, serving children that public schools cannot effectively support. School districts from the Denver/Boulder area partner with The Joshua School, recognizing their best-in-class services.
The Need for TJS
In Colorado, the need for a school like TJS has never been greater. Recent data shows that 1 in 44 children in the US is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. TJS consistently has a robust waitlist of students needing services. The program is respected and appreciated by districts and families due to its outstanding track record of helping these students achieve what many thought was impossible. Supporting a Worthy Cause
Given their impeccable reputation in the special needs community, TJS was a logical choice for support in April. Thanks to the generosity of the car community, Autowash helped raise nearly $2,000 for The Joshua School. This total includes a generous donation match from Autowash owners Erin and Dennis Dreeszen. These funds will assist TJS in continuing their mission to change the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. Get Involved
