With over 30 years in the professional detailing industry, Levi Gates, The Master of Shine, has been instrumental in developing innovative products and tools that enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional results for both enthusiasts and professionals. His hands-on approach ensures practical solutions that meet real-world needs, setting new standards in automotive care.
Beyond product development, Levi shares his expertise through various media. He has contributed extensively to popular Youtube channels, most notably at The Rag Company. He co-hosted The Rag Company Podcast, a show dedicated to car care culture, auto detailing, and community-building. Outside of his role in several popular detailing channels, Gates has been a key contributor to the International Detailing Association serving on several committees as well as supporting training initiatives as a Certified Detailer (CD), Skills Validated Detailer (SV), and Registered Trainer (RT).
Outside of his professional endeavors, Levi Gates, values his family and community. He and his wife, Carly, and their two children, enjoy camping, the outdoors, and Disneyland. In his leisure time, he enjoys the company of their loyal dog, Watson, and two curious cats, Sherlock and Simon.
